The Silk Factory

The silk factory is more than a store, it is an introduction to an amazing process. We were taken thru the areas where we saw the cocoons, the old equipment, the new equipment complete with the staff working and removing the silk from the cocoons. We saw incredible silk wall hangings and the silk for duvets being pulled - it is amazingly strong. Sushan was given a cocoon which has a place of honor in her tooth fairy bag.
