Sushan was quite excited, yet nervous (as you can tell by the look on her face) to attend the kindergarten orientation. This year there are currently 21 kids enrolled - 1 of which is her buddy Riley. They also go to the same daycare which is less than 1 block from the school. The older kids walk the younger ones to and fro. I usually drop Sushan off at daycare at 7 a.m. and pick her up at 4:30 p.m.

so she's up at 6 a.m. as a general rule of thumb. It's a very long day for her as it is, never mind throwing in having to learn in a formal setting. Up til now the most children she's had to interact with all day has been 8 (including her). I know she (and I) will adapt. Kindergarten alternates 2 full days one week and 3 full days the next. In between she will be at daycare with Lilei - I work Monday to Friday so I see my kids maybe an hour in the morning, and 3 hours in the evening - thank goodness we don't have to squeeze homework in that time (do we?). I live for weekends...
I included a picture of the principal talking in the classroom just because I think he's quite a handsome man.

It looks like a great school and you will all adapt no problem. As for the good looking principal, too bad I see a wedding ring. :-)
